All authentic alchemical lineages employ some form of purified mercury in their Tradition. This can be the extensive use of alchemical vessels, constructed of special amalgams of gold, silver, and mercury, these alchemical ‘electrums’ found in the oldest soma and European myths of magical cauldrons, to the Daoist alchemical plates and cups, to Grail myths from Persia to France, and other healing vessels of which the Hyperborean Research Society has made great study and has produced several monographs. Some temples are found with pools of purified mercury, or most were looted of their solidified mercury statues, mirrors, and other magical items by the Enemies of Life. These myths are all related to Aryan or Indo-European cultures such as the Tarim mummies into China who brought this to the Taoists, or the elixir alchemy of the rasayana/rasashastra. The latter knows this science of alchemy as such and considers mercury the seed of Shiva and it is fiery and poisonous but also healing and miraculous in spiritual potential.
Our lineage makes special use of these with a combined science from those in Syrian crypto-Hermetic lineages, that we have also supplemented with certain French and Siddha lineages in ultimate perfection. Thus, we produce and use such solidified mercury primarily in the shapes of a pyramid or beads for theurgy. This is an external aspect of the laboratory alchemy to be mastered, as it is a supreme alchemical ‘technology’ for true initiation. A True Initiation must transmute the person such that there is no backslide, there is no regression, nor straying from the Way. One is changed, reborn, transformed in such a profound and complete totality that any deviance from the Way is reprimanded by extreme anguish, pain, and remonstrance from the Universe itself to regain and recalibrate back to the Great Work. These items can be passed to future ancestors, to disciples, from a lifetime of practice they are infused with a signature of energy that persists, like the shrine of saints, they offer a subtle but profound power and blessing.
The mercury pyramids are essential for theurgic and visionary rites. The authentic mercury pyramid functions as a witness, a battery, a conduit, a potentiating accumulating force of intention, of invocations, of prayers. Just as the obelisks of quartz function as esoteric antennae, such as the exoteric radio towers or in computers, these power items transmit, communicate, and are storage for these imprints and ritual actions. The ancients understood geomancy, sacred geometry and architecture to draw down celestial energies and to use them to great insights, into visionary animation of the statues, in communication with the Theoi/Gods. Our process follows both traditional alchemical techniques from our French Masters but also the Rasashastra sciences of Mercury of Aryan India. Here we purify the mercury in 18 cycles of purification, and solidify with purest silver. The result is a pure, empowered theurgic power item that is infused with our Temple’s initiatory and signature of lineage. It is best wrapped in a piece of clean linen or cotton or kept in a small bag of such material. It is to be carried into the forests and mountains for meditations, on the altar of theurgy, into the temples, into the dream chambers, into the orgiastic rites as a constant guide, a beacon, a silent companion. It is to be fed with clan nectars and fumes of incense, kept in a holy place with fresh flowers if possible and when in season. In short, it is to be thought of as a living embodiment of Mercury, a charged and empowered aspect of this divine energy into a condensed, magical object.
